There are a lot of theme parks in Florida but Disney World really stands out. Disney World opened in 1971 in honor of Walt Disney, the creator of, yes, Disney. Florida was the place where Disney came to life. Now you can come here to ride fun rides, play fun games, and see all of your favorite characters! There are also resorts to stay in. You can come here to see fun parades and shows that happen day and night. Also, you can watch the Disney fireworks. There is also a chance to dine with fun and unique characters. This is a fun experience for all ages!
Kennedy Space Center
Kennedy Space Center is known for sending astronauts into space. It opened in 1962. Now it is a huge tourist attraction. People from all overcome here to have a fun experience where you can get an educational and historical tour. Then you can possibly have a sleepover at the space center! Also a few fun activities are the shuttle launch experience. You can get in a simulator and try being in the rocket during the launch of the rocket. Also, there is the bus tour where you visit important spots in NASA history including the NASA hall of fame and much more. This is great for kids and adults.
The Beaches
The beaches in Florida may be the biggest tourist attraction here. First, the beaches are so fun in many ways! You can enjoy the beautiful scenery and the amazing weather. There are fun activities you can do such as surfing, body surfing, boogie boarding, paddle boarding, boat tours, or just taking a swim. You can even bring your pet to take a dip. You can also snorkel and scuba dive and see wonderful sea wildlife. There are 825 miles of beach in Florida. The beach is fun for everyone!
